About the Role
This role involves managing the operations of commercial facilities, encompassing maintenance, sales support, and inventory control in Scarborough, Ontario. It is a key position overseeing diverse aspects of facility management and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will direct and control the operations of commercial facilities, including overseeing construction projects and evaluating modifications to various facilities and real estate. This involves preparing reports and statistics related to these areas of responsibility.
Key duties also include promoting sales to existing clients, assessing their needs, and recommending appropriate goods or services. You will develop reports and proposals, prepare and administer sales contracts, and utilize sales forecasting software. Post-sale support and administering contracts for supplies and services are also part of this role.
Additionally, you will develop and implement schedules for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs. This includes directing the maintenance and repair of machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems. You will oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of real estate infrastructures, manage facility leasing and marketing strategies, and plan the operations budget. Organizing and maintaining inventory, along with troubleshooting equipment problems, are also essential responsibilities.
Requirements
Candidates must have a College or CEGEP education. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience is required for this position.
