About the Role

YES TECH COMPUTER SERVICE LTD is seeking a Software Development Programmer to join their software company in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. This role offers the possibility of overtime and includes free parking on site.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will write, modify, integrate, and test software code, and maintain existing computer programs by making necessary modifications. They will communicate technical problems, processes, and solutions, and prepare reports, manuals, and other documentation regarding software status, operation, and maintenance. Other duties include assisting in the collection and documentation of user requirements, researching and evaluating various software products, and consulting with clients post-sale to provide ongoing support.

Qualifications & Experience

Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer software engineering or Computer technology/computer systems technology. A minimum of 3 years to less than 5 years of experience is required. Proficiency in English is essential, and Mandarin is considered an asset language.

Candidates should have knowledge in a wide range of computer and technology areas including Android, Internet of things (IoT), iOS, Linux, C, C++, Networking software, Networking hardware, Networking security, Internet, Servers, Java, JavaScript, CSS, PHP, Programming software, HTML editing software, Website creation and management software, Web service design, Database software, C#, JQuery, Software development, MS Office, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Git, HTML, Python, React Native, React.js, Android Studio, Microservices, Postman, Vue.js, MS Excel, and WordPress. Experience in Quality assurance or control is beneficial, with a specialization in Development, Business process management, User experience design, or E-commerce.
