Sawmill Operator

Job Description:

• Operating front-end loaders and stationary cranes to load logs into the sawmill

• Inspecting logs and rough lumber to determine size, condition, and quality

• Operating automated wood milling equipment from control rooms, sawing logs into rough lumber

• Sawing, trimming, and straightening rough lumber into processed lumber of various sizes

• Running the conveyor system to move logs and lumber

• Setting up saw equipment and changing blades or belts using wrenches, gauges, and other hand tools
  

Requirements:

• Minimum two years of experience in manufacturing or on a production line

• English language proficiency at a B1/B2 level

• High school diploma
  
  

Working Conditions:

• Salary of 21 CAD per hour

• Full-time position (40-60 hours per week)

• Health and pension insurance

• Paid ticket to Canada

• Paid accommodation for the first 3 months

• Support with integration during the relocation period

• Possibility of obtaining permanent residency in Canada and relocating with your family
