About the Role
MCDONALDS is seeking a dedicated Restaurant Supervisor in Edmonton, Alberta. This role involves overseeing daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant or concession setting.
The work environment can be noisy, with odours, and may be wet, damp, or hot at times.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include establishing work schedules and methods to meet them. You will supervise and coordinate staff involved in food preparation and portioning, ensuring food and service meet quality control standards.
Training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures is also a core part of this role. You will estimate ingredient and supply needs, address customer complaints, and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
Additional duties involve preparing and submitting reports, summarising food orders for the chef, and supervising the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys.
Requirements
Candidates must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 2 to less than 3 years of experience in the field. A Food Safety Certificate and Safe Food Handling certificate are required.
Successful candidates will undergo a criminal record check. The role demands attention to detail, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, and a team-player attitude.
