This full-time Restaurant Supervisor position at MCDONALDS in Edmonton, Alberta, offers an opportunity to manage food service operations. The role is based within a fast food outlet or concession and restaurant setting.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining work schedules, supervising and co-ordinating the activities of staff involved in food preparation and portioning, and training staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

The supervisor will also estimate ingredient and supply requirements, ensure quality control standards for food and service, and address customer complaints. Additional duties involve maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports, and overseeing food order summaries, tray assembly, and food trolley delivery. This role involves supervising 5-10 food service counter attendants and food preparers.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and have 2 years to less than 3 years of experience. Required certifications include a Food Safety Certificate and a Safe Food Handling certificate. A criminal record check is necessary for this position.

The role demands working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with tight deadlines and under pressure. Physical capabilities include a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling, all requiring attention to detail.
