Q Pizza in Victoria, British Columbia, is seeking an Office Manager. This role is based in an urban area within the private sector and may involve willingness to relocate.

Key Responsibilities

The Office Manager will oversee and coordinate administrative procedures, including reviewing and evaluating new processes. Tasks involve delegating work to office support staff, establishing priorities, and ensuring deadlines are met. This role coordinates office services such as accommodation, relocation, equipment, supplies, forms, asset disposal, parking, maintenance, and security. The manager will assist in budget preparation, maintain inventory and budgetary controls, and prepare various reports, manuals, and correspondence. Additional duties include data entry, resolving conflict, monitoring operations, overseeing payroll administration, scheduling staff, and reconciling accounts. The position also involves managing accounts payable and receivable, maintaining filing systems, compiling financial records on operating expenses and income, and compiling inventory reports. Experience with sales and marketing promotions, including advertising and promoting products or services, is also part of the role. Supervision of one to two people is required.

Requirements

Candidates should have a College/CEGEP education or equivalent experience. A minimum of one year to less than two years of experience is required. Proficiency in computer and technology knowledge including electronic mail, social media, spreadsheets, accounting software, inventory control software, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, and database software is essential. Documentation knowledge for maintenance and repair reports is also beneficial. The ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail and a large workload, is important. Personal suitability includes flexibility, being organised, and reliability. Willingness to travel is required, and public transportation is available.
