About the Role

Brar Insulation Ltd. is seeking an experienced Insulation Supervisor in Surrey, British Columbia. This role involves working in construction settings, including residential projects and various locations, outdoors, at heights, and in noisy or dusty environments. Relocation costs will be covered by the employer for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include supervising 3 to 4 workers and managing projects, coordinating and scheduling activities, and overseeing apprenticeship training. The supervisor will also be involved in recruiting, hiring, and training workers. Additional duties include managing company operations, setting up machinery and equipment, estimating costs and materials, ensuring health and safety compliance, and reading blueprints and drawings. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

Candidates must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience, along with 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience. Required certifications include a First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate. Essential personal qualities include excellent oral communication skills, being organized, reliable, and a team player. Proficiency in English is required for this position.
