Home Support Worker, Mississauga (LMIA)

About the Role

Mubeen Qureshi is seeking a dedicated Home Support Worker in Mississauga, Ontario. This full-time position offers shifts in the morning and day, with overtime required as needed.

Your Responsibilities

Key duties include administering bedside and personal care, assisting clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and administering medications. You will also be responsible for collecting specimens, providing companionship, and preparing and serving nutritious meals. Additional tasks involve laundering clothing and household linens, and performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties.

Requirements

Candidates must have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience. A minimum of 7 months to less than 1 year of experience is required.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate punctuality, client focus, dependability, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, initiative, judgement, organized, reliability, patience, and honesty.

This role involves a fast-paced and physically demanding environment with repetitive tasks, requiring the ability to work under pressure. Physical activities include bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Language Requirement

Proficiency in English is required for this position.
