About the Role

Brightview Landscapes Ltd. is actively seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join their team in Edmonton, Alberta. This is a full-time position offering employment options for day and weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

Operate a variety of heavy equipment to efficiently load, unload, and move materials and products. Conduct thorough pre-operational checks on all equipment to ensure safety and functionality before use. Tasks include shovelling cement and other materials into cement mixers, and spreading concrete and asphalt on road surfaces using shovels, rakes, and hand tampers. Operators may also be required to operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings, use cranes with dredging attachments, and drive or operate drilling machines for boring blast holes at construction sites, open-pit mines, or quarries.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must possess a secondary (high) school graduation certificate. A minimum of 3 years to less than 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment is required for this position.
