Responsibilities

Key responsibilities include taking customer orders, preparing, heating, and finishing simple food items, and packaging take-out food. You will be responsible for operating dishwashers, cleaning and sanitising kitchen areas, tables, and serving areas.

Tasks also involve receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies, as well as maintaining cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors. Operating equipment such as deep fryers, electronic cash registers, food dispensers, and grills will be part of your daily duties.

You will also manage food records, portion and wrap foods, and replenish condiments and supplies.

Requirements

Candidates must have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate. A Food Safety Certificate is required for this position. Applicants must be willing to undergo a criminal record check.

The role involves working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment, handling heavy loads up to 9 kg (20 lbs), performing repetitive tasks, and standing for extended periods.

Successful candidates will demonstrate client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, reliability, teamwork, the ability to multitask, initiative, dependability, and a positive attitude. Willingness to relocate and travel, including regular travel, is an asset. Public transportation is available in the area.
