Responsibilities

Tasks

·       Demonstrates an above and beyond commitment to the development and safety of children in our care

·       Follows Reggio Emilia inspired learning and Flight Framework, as well as nature and movement focused

·       curriculum in collaboration with and as set forth by the Program Director(s)

·       Ensures accurate child attendance and record-keeping.

·       Communicates problems concerning children with the Director(s)

·       Builds and maintains appropriate and professional relationships with coworkers

·       Supports Educators and Program Leads in daily operations and coverage

·       Adheres to the WilderChildFutures Code of Ethics

·       Adheres to Employee Conduct Standards

·       Maintains appropriate interactions with children and adults, inside and outside of the facility

·       Participates in centre-led community initiatives

·       Works in a collaborative and team-oriented manner

·       Supports in the maintenance of classroom materials, toys, and provocations for learning, disposing of

·       broken materials when necessary

·       Attends mandatory staff meetings and workshops

·       Adheres to licensing/Alberta Health policies and procedures
